Sensei Cameron

Sensei Cameron is has been training in the martial arts for over 15 years and has a wide varity of experience ranging from Karate, Kung Fu, Brazilian Jujitsu, to Muay Thai Kickboxing.

He has been teaching for over a decade and takes great pride in the being the head coach for team Legacy, and knowing that his training has lead to nearly a dozen national Champions (US Open 02-07)

Sensei Cameron is working on a 4th degree black belt, and is the head instructor for Legacy Martial Arts. He is the founder of the Legacy submission system and innovator of the inclusive Go-to grappling combinations which have been attributed to the team�s success at submission events including Naga and the World Martial Arts Championship.

Sensei Chris Fortney

Sensei Chris Fortney is a 4th degree black belt in Aikido, a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a 2nd degree black belt in Karate Do; and he also holds rank in Judo, jujitsu, iaido, and kobudo.  He has been involved with the martial arts for over 21 years under Shihan Roger Jarrett, has been teaching for 16 years, and has competed and taught national and internationally.

 

Sensei Igor

Igor Almeida is the current instructor for the adult grappling class.  He has a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Eduardo Brigadeiro, and was raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Igor's current MMA record is (5-0) amateur and (5-1) professional.  He has been training for the last 15 years in BJJ, and more recently been training his standup game with Muay Thai as well.

Kids Karate Instructors

The kids karate program has several instructors teaching under Sensei Cameron.  There are also other instructors who are currently in college, but teach periodically during the summer. 

Sensei Carleton:
Sensei Carleton was originally a student at Legacy Martial arts for several years and recieved his black belt while training here.  He is currently a senior at Suncoast Highschool, and has been teaching karate for the past year.

Sensei Jason: 
Sensei Jason recently left to goto college at Florida Gulf Coast and is now a freshman in college. Jason was an instructor for the past 4 years, and was also in varsity Wrestling while in highschool. He recieved his black belt under Sensei Cameron, and will probably be returning during the summer to continue teaching.
